The Welsh Game Fair, Gelli Aur 2006;
Saturday 17th June - Sunday 18th June.
The 'Welsh' which boasts its own unique flavour and atmosphere for working dog enthusiasts, shooting supporters, hunt followers and fishing fanatics is located in the scenic surroundings of Gelli Aur - only 15 mins from the M4 motorway.
A full programme is scheduled for the main arena for both days, with many old favourites to delight and enthrawl the crowds. Terry Large and his falconry display, Chris Green with his countryside skills are always superb examples and come complimented by simulated coursing, chainsaw displays, fre-fall parachuting and many others.
With over 200 trade stands booked for 2006, the Fair provides shoppers with an amazing choice of wares, ranging from Fishermans to the craft marquee and food hall - one thing is certain, if its related to the countryside it can be found at The Welsh.
